"We had a comfortable overnight stay in Belo Horizonte, thanks to São Bento Hotel. It is situated within walking distance to the bus terminal, and both the old and new markets. The hotel has several security cameras. The room, while on the smaller side, is neat and tidy. It has a closet with safety deposit box and enough surfaces to put things on. "The hotel is close to Capivari and the staff is friendly. However the first room I was given was terrible! The safe did not work, it was noisy, dark, the shower leaked, the floor was in very bad condition and dusty in general. Fortunately, after complaining several times, I was able to change my room for a room with a view on the third floor, paying the difference of course! If you want to stay in this hotel pay for rooms with balcony or on the third level otherwise it is best yo avoid it."

"The chalets were atrocious. There were bugs everywhere. The chalet was old and with holes everywhere. You could see daylight through the cracks. Hence the bugs. The sheets were yellow and the pillow was moldy. There were dogs barking very early in the morning and the breakfast buffet was terrible. "

"The room itself was goods the only problem I had was that in the website picture and description didn't match the real room. I wished for a queen bed, but instead got a 2 single bed attempt to be a queen bed. They put 2 single beds together and put a cover on top of it, result was a lot of discomfort and back pain, if it wasn't for this I would give a better rating, hotel staff were super friendly ."
