Parkway Motel
10/10 Excellent
"We have chosen to stay at the Parkway Motel every time we travel through northern Ontario because it is always impeccably clean, fresh, well-priced, and convenient as it is situated on Hwy 17 (but set back a distance from the road so road noise is never an issue)."
"Exactly what we needed for a simple overnight stay on our travels. Some tasteful upgrades, and some thoughtful touches that you can tell have been there for years with cute little signs (like earplugs for snoring partners, mini sewing kit). Even a crib board on the side table. Owner on site was lovely, I booked through Expedia which ended up being slightly more expensive but she only charged me the lower rate. We stayed with our dog so appreciated the open green space behind the motel, including what backed into crown land with paths we could walk. We were warned about moose & bears but didn’t see any, just lots of moose droppings. Beautiful, peaceful area to walk our dog. Would certainly recommend."
"the rooms are very clean and well maintained. the whole place has a unique quaintness to it. I would definitely stay there again. this is the second time in a month that we stayed at the Mystic."
"Room is okay but the cleaning of the parking lot is not so good.
The room lock is electronic digital lock but the digits are too small that almost illegible to see."
"Well, If your like me and drove 10 hours on your way across the country this is not the place to stay. The entire town seems to go to this bar in the hotel and the walls are probably the least soundproof walls ever made. Contacted the front desk countless times about people screaming outside, smoking and keeping people up well past 1:30am. Do not stay here if you want to actually rest because between the patrons and the ac unit you won’t."
"Easy access from the Hwy. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Our had a kitchenette and was clean and great for washing babies stuff!! Would definitely stay again and recommend!"
