But the closer you looked the more problems there were - some more problematic than others. A few examples include missing bathroom doors, broken off and missing soap dispensers at the sink, Q-tip from previous occupant on the floor. "Simply can’t go wrong with this property for the price and location it was fantastic. We opted for the private bathroom room and it was great. Only negative there was that there is no AC but they did have a big fan. "

The location is great, right next to Campo Pequeno Metro station, it only take a few minutes to travel into the centre by either metro or bus. The room was large, clean, and nicely designed, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the street below. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. I would highly recommend staying at B&B Republica."

"The location, size, staff and amenities were all excellent. Only negative was the shower, which was very impractical and the toilet area which was quite small and awkward. If you get up a night and forget about the step, it could be a hazard. Everything else was perfect. Would stay again, maybe try a different room with a better bathroom. "

And the stairs are long , we were in the 3rd floor and it was like the 4th floor. Everything you see in the picture is exactly the same. Transportation very near . "
