"The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience pleasant. However, the lodge itself could use some renovation — the interior furnishings are quite tired and worn, and the overall appearance feels dated.
On the positive side, the location is excellent — very central and in a safe area, making it easy to explore the surroundings. With a bit of refurbishment, this property could truly stand out.

"This is a unique property built on natural rock surrounded by trees and birdlife in midst of suburb in Johannesburg.Artistic and comfortable and full of detail.The staff are amazing especially Radsen who cooks a delightful breakfast .Truly delightful stay."

"Sehr nettes Guest House - kein Hotel. In einer ruhigen Gegend mit Parkplätzen direkt in Innenhof. Die Zimmer/ Appartements sind groß und ausreichend für 3 Personen (bei 4 personen ist das Doppelstockbett vielleicht etwas klein.
Küchennische ist vollausgetstattet. Bad zweckdienlich, könnte aber mal wieder renoviert werden; nicht schlimm allerdings.
Wifi hat nach anfänglichen Problemen emebefalls tadellos funktioniert.
Es gibt einen Tischkicker, Billard, Pool; alles sehr nett und herzlich...

"Lovely old manor where you are treated like royalty. It’s very comfortable, clean and safe with lots of amenities. The hostesses are lovely and very accommodating. It’s the only place to stay if you are going to or thru Heidelberg. "
