"I had a wonderful stay at Smugglers' Notch Inn, and I can't recommend it highly enough. My trip to Vermont was for a stressful family situation, so having such a warm, welcoming place to come back to each day made all the difference.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely cared that I had a pleasant stay. Their hospitality was outstanding and helped make a difficult trip much more comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. Each day, I was able to choose my breakfast the day before, select the time I wanted it served, and order exactly what I wanted from the menu. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The homemade blueberry muffins were amazing—without a doubt some of the best I've ever had!
My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax after long, emotional days. The entire inn was well maintained and had such a cozy, peaceful atmosphere.
Thank you to everyone at Smugglers' Notch Inn for your kindness and exceptional hospitality. You truly made my stay memorable, and I am so grateful for everything you did. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in Vermont. Highly recommended!"
"What was unique is the room was right by a river. Our room had a river view and very inexpensive. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, the AC wasn't working in our room. They are changing out the units this week. This lodge has a pool, sauna and fire pits in the back. A very romantic place.
Now the rooms are small but they are clean. We are a 5 minute drive from Stowe Mtn Ski Resort. We would stay here again. Love the price and the Mtn location."
"The room was clean. The lobby area and front yard were beautiful. The ac was not working in the room because they were working on the hvac system, but they had a roll in unit that worked fairly well. The back landscaping and parking lot needed some improvement. We enjoyed exploring the area of Stowe, and this hotel met our needs for one night."
"A very unique place to stay! Rooms were calm, comfortable, with excellent bedding. Bathroom was modern with a wonderful shower. Step outside to 2 hot tubs, a sauna (we didnt use), and a fire pit. The breakfast was a European style delight with yogurt, fruit, crusty bread, jams, etc."
