"The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Anthony the shuttle driver. He took us anywhere we wanted to go (airports, restaurant, grocery store). The room was spacious but a little dated. Carpet needed to be replaced. Location is very good, especially if you’re flying out of Merrill Field- it’s right next to it. Never really heard a plane very loud but we got there late. It’s not that far from Ted Stevens- shuttle has service to there also. Breakfast was actually hot- scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, muffins, toast, cereal, milk, coffee. Nice to have a hot breakfast instead of just continental. Nice people and very accommodating."
"I was exceptionally impressed with the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. They are a new hotel outfit but are absolutely excelling already. They don't have every amenity of some of the bigger chains, but it was a very well kept room, with modern design, and comfort. They provided plenty of coffee supplies, towels, etc for our stay. Also, it is the first place I've ever seen complimentary feminine products stocked in the bathroom. The rooms and beds were clean and we couldn't hear any street noise or neighboring guests with the windows closed. Consider, they do not have AC in the room but provided a fan and most of the time in ANC it's probably unnecessary anyways."
"The check-in staff was friendly and welcoming. She even took the time to ask which floor I preferred, which I appreciated. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was plenty of parking available. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
"The hotel is transitioning from the old location that was here to the brand new Hyatt JDV hotel. Still some improvements happening but the room was complete, new and comfortable to sleep in. The trains through downtown make it a little noisy but not terrible and don’t run all night long, and the hotel does provide earplugs as well in case you need them. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area with access to the Railroad behind it along with Ship Creek and some amazing restaurants. The hotel is on a street that is like a hill, so the 2nd floor is where the main lobby is but there are other access doors and conveniently placed staircases as well to get to your room anywhere in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!"
