The hotel has a great location, view, and staff is terrific! Under normal circumstances I would give every thing 5 stars, but the property is under construction. There was debris and dust everywhere and concrete was being cut daily, resulting in terrible noise and odor. There were hoses draped over the staircases, creating potential accidents on very steep steps. Large amounts of construction materials were piled up in front of hotel and near stairs, furnishings were stored in the walkway, and hotel was clearly not ready for guests. We were told the work was supposed to be finished before guests arrived. But they also said it could be another 2 months before construction was finished. Our room was nice, with a stunning view on the balcony, but the safe didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t work and staff had to get the AC functioning. I HATE to provide a bad review, but we should have been advised in advance that the hotel was not ready to be open. We left a day early. My husband wanted to to leave Day 1, but it was too inconvenient move. I would enjoy a stay here once it is complete. Sorry to provide a bad review
However, Breakfast was fantastic and dinner lovely, and all staff really nice.
We should have been notified the hotel was not ready for guests, however.
