I loved Alamosa's thriving little Main Street. Fun, interesting and walkable.

We were in town to visit the Sand Dunes -- which was amazing! There was also a rodeo and carnival going on in the nearby town of Monte Vista. That was super fun! And the Sand Dunes hot springs us a must visit. Had a wonderful time in the area.

A nice little town with a lot of history. So many amazing things in this part of Colorado, Alamosa is the best place to stay to be able to be comfortable in your modern needs or escape from it all.

The Colorado Gator House looks kind of dated from the outside, a roadside attraction from the 70s, but is well worth a visit. The UFO Watch Tower is just a collection of junk. Cranes in the spring are interesting and fun...

The area around the hotel was a little sketchy but the town was nice. Some nice restaurant choices and it was a nice town to walk around.

Walking tour is not walking friendly. It kept jigging back and forth between streets
"Extremely kind and efficient staff. Liked the LVP flooring in pet friendly room. The parking lot is full of trash, and not just a little trash…a lot. "
"This is an excellent place for a stop over. We had travelled for 3 hours so just wanted a comfy bed and a hassle free stay and that’s what we got. We were able to walk out to chilli’s for food which we gold. We had a great sleep and breakfast was good. Staff were super friendly ❤️"
