Construction is taking place—with 630am start time—and was not informed of this. Room provided to me was above construction zone. Light in place lacked bulb. Another light had wiring that had been bandaged with electrical tape. Ladder on stairwell. Holes in hallway ceiling. To be clear I loved the decor on the first floor and restaurant and sitting areas. And the location is great. But the others aspects left me a bit shocked especially given the the price and rating. I messaged the hotel about the issue and have not heard back. I hope they can remedy the situations.

The worst hotel ever priced at $495 per night!
The worst hotel ever. Dirty dirty dirty. Avoid this hitel I rented a presedential suite type A and the first thing I noticed was a dirty bed. I arrived after a long flight for almost 12 hours and there was the surprise! I called the duty manager and he came along with the housekeeping manager and I showed them everything. The best they coukd was to change the pillows and the sheets. Evenworse, this 3 bedroom suite is really old and dust smells everywhere. At the midnight, bathrooms staring another party. A smell from bathrooms was unexpected! I tried for two days seeing the hotel manager and he was never available! I ask about him and they say he will come. Avoid avoid avoid. I rented the suite for $495 per night! All you get is a dirty suite plus two 200 ml bottles of water per stay even if you rent it for one week.

I have stayed at Karan almost every time I traveled to Jubail. All in all, I have been satisfied staying here due to its convenient location & room service. However, they need to greatly improve wifi since wifi service is terrible (even inside the room). Their standard single rooms are SOO small so I recommend any room other than the single room.

Nonsmoker beware - Smoking allowed in all rooms
My room smelled like cigarette smoke- for a nonsmoker this was not a good situation. I when I asked about moving rooms I was told the hotel allows smoking in all of the rooms.

Karan Hotel gives a warm welcome & enjoyable stay
This hotel is in an excellent location. Whilst it has two restaurants, it is surrounded by many others including numerous Western-style places like Chili's and Outback Steakhouse. It is very short walk across 2 roads to get to the wonderful Persian Gulf - a stroll along the boardwalk alongside the sea is a very pleasant experience, with a totally different vibe to the KSA capital Riyadh. Less than 10 minutes walk are two large shopping malls, with plenty of local shops nearer by. The hotel is itself large. The room I had was exceptionally large and with its own balcony. Inside the hotel you will find a large array of historical artefacts and antiques lining the corridors, as well as 3 classic cars in reception. This hotel is completely different to the usual large global corporate hotels, and this works in its favour.

A great location with everything around
The hotel is greatly located on the water fronts of the recreational area in Jubail. A lot of restaurants and activities. Staying on January presents pleasant experience in walking around and enjoying the festivals. The hotel has many historic corners where old cars, coins, cloths and antique collections are presented. Two big malls and many walk-around shops are within walking distance.

Good range of restaurants, a museum of old memorabilia in the corridors on ground floor. A number of old restored vehicles in the lobby. Lots of activity going on in the hotel.

Great Hotel
The hotel is very nice and clean. A good selection of self serve food at breakfast. Rooms where clean and spacious. Staff always happy to help if you have an issue. Great all round service.

Good Location and Very Clean. Very interesting Artifacts and Photos of the Kingdom and the Mideast overall. The Pool/Gym guys can be a little more accommodating when shutting the pool down, or at least coordinate with the front desk to avoid miscommunications with guests.

Karan hotel : best for business travellers in juba
One of the best hotels in the fanateer area of Jubail. Although in breakfast they serve only Arabic food with English breakfast. The options for vegetarians is quite limited. I have stayed frequently in Karan as I visit Jubail quite frequently for buisness

Plus points: Room size, location, overall cleanliness Minus points: shower water pressure is terrible, I have asked to increase but nothing like what we see in USA, it's very inconvenient for me. Odd gym hours: 11:30 Am to 11:30 pm ( not even an option to work out early hrs).

Enjoyed the location and walked for two hours along the beach. There are many good restaurants and cafes around. And the lobby is a small museums

The room I had was a suite with kitchen, living room and bathroom. The kitchen had minimal utensils, plates, cups, saucers, and flatware with no cooking utensils. However, there was a full size washing machine and full size dryer in the kitchen which is a first for me in my stay at hotels. My room was in the annex building which is a bit unusual as it has the feel as that you are the only person in the building. No staff visible either. Both the lobby in the main building and the annex have a multitude of interesting antiques including antique cars, electronics, rugs, furniture, and cameras.

Excellent overall experience
From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I realized that everything was going to be great. The lobby was steeped in history, staff were very helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean. Until I left, the hotel did everything to make my stay comfortable for me.
