Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. Fantastic beach front location with great views. Rooms and common areas very good standard and staff very helpful and hospitable. Lovely free perks in addition including afternoon tea/ cakes and drinks (gin/tonic, wine and beer) from 5-6pm. Food outstanding.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel which is in such a great location with fabulous views of the beach. There's lots to do nearby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious (bed was huge!) and clean. The food was delicious. We would definitely recommend.

Loved this property. The reception was so friendly and welcoming. The pool is lovely. The food and drinks (aside from one mistake) was good and reasonably priced. We often had the beach to ourselves. A few things, such as the gym and probably do with a bit of an update/clean but it was the end of the season and there were very few people to use it. Stunning hotel with exceptional hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and very highly recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel and place to relax, only things to maybe improve would be to add some ventilation to the bathroom as it turned into a sauna and to maybe increase the amount purchased for the restaurant as it did regularly not have my first choice of food - not great as there aren't many other options in the locality

The hotel is nestled in the jungle along a dirt path. Our room had a balcony, with chairs, looking over the jungle and the lake, incredibly tranquil and beautiful. It was perfect even in the rain. We were treated superbly by the staff who wrote happy birthday mum in palm leaves on the bed and produced a cake with a firework fountain on top. All the Tuk tuk drivers new exactly where to take us and it was less than 10 minutes drive from the station - negotiate the price. The owner told us how much...

Amazing, clean and great location hotel! This is right on the beach with its own secluded pool, relaxation area and just steps to the sea. The staff are great and the room we were given were amazing!

Excellent location with 2 large swimming pool overlooking the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and the pool staff made sure that we stay comfortably in the shade enjoying the sea view. We stayed on all inclusive package and lots of choices of tasty food were available throughout the day. Excellent customer services by Shanduni, Varuni from the restaurant, Prasanna -cleaning staff, Raju from the bar. We will highly recommend this resort and definitely stay again on our next visit to Sri Lanka.
