"This is a very nice hotel overlooking the sea. Excellent and very friendly staff. Quick checkin. I was impressed by the speed of the elevator. I’ll review my room number 203. Nice and clean room. Bathroom door opened only 45 degrees because it would stop when it hit the toilet. No stopper for the bathtub. Door wouldn’t close completely without giving it a good nudge. No blackout curtains, but not necessary since there’s a rollup door for wind and rain protection, and it makes the room plenty dark. Very comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. White sheets and comforter which were spotlessly clean. Plenty of outlets in the room, including one on either side of the bed. Complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. TV monitor was on the small size, about 19 inches I think. But who watches TV with a nice beach and sea nearby? Amazing views of the sea. Restaurant serves excellent food. Breakfast buffet has lots of good selections including two egg dishes, different breads, fruit, Greek yogurt, cereals, bacon, coffee and juice options. They have good options on their regular menu, but the serving sizes are a bit small, and expensive. But very tasty. I discovered I can come later and only pay €12 for their nice breakfast buffet. I’ll be back. "

"We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Isla Brown Chania! The staff is warm and welcoming, the environment and views are stunning. I got some spa treatments and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Book your vacation for next season, don’t hesitate. Yes, if you want to see Crete, you’ll need a car- but we loved driving and there are many wonderful places to stop and visit if you have the flexibility of a car. And we enjoyed not being in the busy town on many days. We couldn’t have been happier with our entire stay and will never forget this trip. Thank you Isla Brown!! "

"These apartments were such a lovely surprise! The pool area was clean fresh with plenty of beds. The snack bar provided everything you need all day long with a friendly service. Apartments were cleaned most days, again everything we need. Large, airy, spacious. A shop 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants within walking distance. Irene's tavern is the best meal we've ever had, with great service. At least one of the restaurants have Greek music on each night. All in all, we could not have asked for more for our family holiday. Amazing !!! "

"Lovely apartment. Beautiful pool. Spotlessly clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful. No faults. We didnt have a car but the beach is a 10 minute walk and its where you can find 3 restaurants (not the nicest of walks and it may be difficult if you have any mobility / health issues as its a little uphill). 2 shops are a 5 minute walk. Bus to Chania town is €1.60 (from near shop) but last bus is 8pm (there not very regular / Taxi is €25). Perfect for a relaxing break or as a base to explore 😀 "
