"The property was in a wonderful location. It was so nice to escape for a week after first visiting Athens. It felt like a true getaway. The cove in the property was one of the best places we've ever swam in. Our room had a great view of the sunset from right outside our window. Within a 3 minute walking distance to the beach which also allowed for some great swims. "We picked this as an off-chance for a one night stay on the day we arrived at Chania airport. Our expectations were limited but the hotel completely exceeded them. The views are terrific, the pool is lovely and the swimming platform that extends out to sea is a great addition to a property that has no beach. We liked it so much that we came back for a second night before our flight home. In terms of location, we had been a little concerned about aircraft noise but this wasn't an issue. You probably need a car if you want to look around the area / go out to eat elsewhere at night, although I think there may be a bus into Chania. We stayed in two different rooms. The standard room was a little lacking in equipment e.g. a kettle would be nice. The superior room was much better equipped with kettle and coffee maker. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Crete. All in all, I would stay here again without even stopping to think. Loved it!"
