I don’t often leave a review, but this is an excellent hotel and for the money you will be hard pushed to find better

Lovingly restored with lots of Victorian touches. Excellent breakfast, and snacks to take away. Very good value. The owner was on away, but his sister was friendly and helpful. However, the quality of the rooms varies, and some work to the property is needed. Avoid the Elizabeth room until the ceiling and door are repaired.

Great hotel. Super Friendly staff. Very clean and confortabke.

The only negative is the excess noise from the AC unit. So one has to turn on AC an hour before retiring then switch it off. Or wear ear defenders!

Another very positive experience at this hotel: on a fourth visit it continues to impress. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the hotel has excellent facilities. There is no breakfast and the bistro hours are now limited, but this did not impact on a very positive experience. Ample free parking, though I opted to use the subterranean garage for added security.
