Rabati castle is amazing place where you can see all the influences of cultures which used to rule the country throughout history of Georgia.

The Rabati Fortress is apparently very, very old.

This was the location of a battle between the Ottoman empire and the Russian empire in 1828 - farmers continue digging cannonballs fired off during the battle out of the local hills.

Newly renovated in 2012 - it features sweeping views of the city of Akhaltsikhe.

This is about 20 kilometers from the Georgian border with Turkey.
