Very charming! Loved our room with a private courtyard. Large room with very large bathroom. Property is very peaceful, with water features and no traffic noise. Staff is excellent, very accomodating for our needs, and patient with our poor French. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Very quaint place with character right outside of Aix-en-Provence. Just 10 min or less driving to the center (La Rotonde). The staff was very friendly and the location is tranquil.

Il est temps de changer la moquette

Beaucoup de charme dans le domaine. Très vieillissant, très poussiéreux, moquette d'époque en total contraste avec une salle de bain très bien refaite. Manifestement ils souhaitent conserver les sols d'époque et celui de la salle de bain était dans son jus. Au fait, ai-je déjà dit que les moquettes étaient d'époque et particulièrement poussiéreuses ? Dans l'ensemble trop cher pour la prestation, désolé.

Déçus par la chambre

Joli cadre mais déçus par la chambre. Chambre vieillotte, moquette très âgée, éclairage blafard. Dans la salle de bain, patère mal fixée , poignée dans la baignoire mal fixée également. Pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 4 Étoiles. Par ailleurs , personnel très sympathique, disponible et avenant.

Anniversaire de mariage

Ma femme et moi sommes venu fêter notre anniversaire de mariage dans ce lieu où je l'avait demandé en mariage. L'endroit est très beau : la piscine, l'établissement et la décoration. La chambre était un peu petite, mais j'aurai du mieux regarder la description au moment de ma réservation. Le bémol va sur le service : les personnes que nous avons eu à l'accueil, au restaurant et au petit-déjeuner étaient certes très gentilles et polies, mais on attend plus d'attention dans un hôtel 4 etoiles. 2 exemples : 1/ j'avais indiqué à l'accueil que la journée était spéciale et que j'aimerais une bougie à la fin du repas pour fêter l'anniversaire, et la consigne n'a pas été passée lorsque nous avons mangé au restaurant le soir. 2/ le petit déjeuner est assez leger (pour le prix indiqué) et il a fallu demander s'il était possible d'avoir une omelette (délicieuse d'ailleurs), ce n'est pas proposé par la serveuse (alors que nous étions seuls dans la salle des petits-déjeuners). En conclusion, j'ai été plus séduit par le souvenir que j'avais de l'établissement il y a 10 ans que par ma dernière visite. Sûrement la nostalgie...

Wonderful place to stay. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and the interior was first class. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We are looking forward to returning to this hotel and reuniting with the wonderful people who work there.

Very nice dinner, beautiful outdoor space. Enjoyed the food, the gentlemen who served the cheese course provided a wonderful explanation of the types of cheese as well as the places of origin. Lovely dinner and stay.

Very good, but could be better

Beautiful property but needs some TLC. The lobby is beautiful, as is the restaurant, however, with the hallways, rooms, grounds, and front entrance there is a fair bit of deferred maintenance. Our room was spacious, but the carpet was very old and the air conditioner did not work very well (and had crusty pieces of bread in them). Lightbulbs were out in the lamps (the staff got them working very quickly, though). We got the available room at the hotel, so the one we stayed in may have not been used all that much.
