Our “corner” King room had fabulous view! Cooked to order breakfast, valet parking, and staff courtesy were excellent! A quiet area to stay, next to nice Gardens. Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel
This isn't an elegant hotel, but we thought it was very good for the money we paid. It's located between 2 parks (1 right next door, the other about 1/2 mile in the other direction.

Plumeria Hilo Hotel
Fully equiped kitchen, clean & good sized. Hamoock on the balcony was great to enjoy the sounds of the frogs & waves crashing in the distance. Great spot for my needs. Easy acess to the National Park without dealing with city traffic.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat
Peaceful setting. Loved the remote aspect. Hope it doesn't have many more huts built. Clean areas and very friendly and helpful staff.
