"I am delighted to share my exceptional experience with our host, Michael. He provided complimentary transportation from the port, a gesture we deeply appreciated. Despite his humble refusal to accept a tip, citing it as part of his service, we insisted as a token of our gratitude. Michael consistently demonstrated kindness, even delivering breakfast cake each morning without intrusion, leaving it discreetly on our outdoor table if the door was closed. Upon our arrival, he thoughtfully provided refreshments and comprehensive local information. His availability and responsiveness to our needs were exemplary, and we are truly thankful for his outstanding service, which significantly enhanced our stay."
"One of kind small boutique hotel near the port in Amorgos. I was really not sure what to expect when arriving to Amorgos. It was our first time there and the Amorgion hotel was sort of a last minute booking. From arrival our family of four was completely blown away with how beautiful the hotel was itself with its amazing positioning in the hills and it's view of the sea.
We were picked up at the Ferry and the check in process was a breeze. The interaction with the staff was extremely pleasant and personable. We were made to feel like family. The hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with a same day car rental and an amazing small lunch with local wine. The entire stay at Amorgion Village was unforgettable. We loved the main port town with its seaside restaurants and cafes. We also took a ride to the hillside Monastery of the Panagia which was also and unforgettable experience.
The only regret we have was only staying for 1 night and truly can't wait to return to this wonderful little island. I would not hesitate booking this small boutique style hotel."
"Georgia Studios was a great find - we really enjoyed our stay there. Rooms were clean and very well maintained and ours overlooked a very sweet little shaded garden with a resident cat. Staff were helpful, especially Tatiana, who went out of her way to be kind and efficient. The hotel was very conveniently located about five minutes walk from the bus stop and 7-8 minutes from the ferry.
My only comment would be that there was no obvious reception area when we arrived. It would be helpful if the check in process was a little more intuitive."
"Perfect location right on a beautiful sandy beach and just minutes from the port. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food at the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again if we return to Amorgos."
"We had a wonderful stay! The highlight was the amazing balcony overlooking the sea—such a peaceful place to relax with a coffee in the morning or a drink at sunset.
The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the ferry, making it incredibly convenient. The friendly family who runs the hotel made us feel so welcome and even offered to help with our luggage from the ferry, which was a thoughtful touch.
Katapola is a great base for exploring Amorgos, with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and several car rental options to discover the rest of the island. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amorgos."
"My second time here in Skopeltis Village, so good I brought some friends along! Great breakfast and views, and so quiet. Antreas is not your host, he’s your friend and guide to all that is good in Amorgos! Coming back next year!!!"
