There are a lot of stray cats and some dogs on the property so anywhere outdoors smells like urine. Besides that, everything else was great. We loved having direct access to the Santa Maria Beach. "This is one of the best hotels we have ever been (and we have been in a few 5 stars resorts/hotels in the last 10 years). The staff was beyond accommodating and helpful. The whole experience felt exclusive and boutique but also very nice and pleasant. The room was AMAZING! White walls with shell shaped scones, bathroom with walled shower and fully equipped, luxurious towels and bathrobes, white slippers…. We felt queenly/kingly. The view included the Santa Maria beech and the blue pool. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall we we give it above 5 stars if we could. We definitely plan to go back."
