not a good experience. To start off with they didnt have our booking. The room had spiders webs everywhere and the room had a very bad smell. VERY over priced. Would not recommend.
Accommodation very basic. Continental breakfast included in package, consisted of cereal and toast, no area in the room to prepare breakfast. Shared bathroom not thoroughly cleaned each day. Bar fridge in room situated next to the bed so disturbs sleep.
Great experience in a hideaway location. Close to many wineries .

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Mixed feelings about this hotel
The hotel appeared to be a family country house which has been transformed into a place that can take paying guests. There were chickens, peacocks, horses and cows in the surrounding grounds. It was fairly remote and a car would be necessary to stay there as it isn't close to shops or services. The décor was pretentious. It was also expensive for what it was.
Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Great deal; Service: Remarkable; Cleanliness: Spotless;
The house and grounds were amazing and at night light up and looked wonderful
Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Great deal; Service: Remarkable, Awesome Private Butler; Cleanliness: Spotless;
We had a private butler to look after us we were really made to feel special
Facilities: Horrible; Value: Outrageous price, Rip-off, Unreasonable; Service: Amateur; Cleanliness: Spa jets were filty;
This place is hugely overpriced. I was expecting much more and was left disappointed. Also the location is quite far from McLaren Vale.
Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Spotless;
Only gave a 3 for value cos everything was overpriced that weekend due to the cricket. Know next time to book 2 months ahead, not just 1 month!
Facilities: Brand new, State of the art, Outstanding; Value: Fantastic, Amazing; Service: Professional, Friendly, Courteous; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
Made my valentines day a romantic night with the partner
Facilities: Tired, Needs a lot of tidy up; Value: Acceptable price; Service: Sufficient; Cleanliness: Neat, Ditto bathroom tired;
Nice people though but not as good as the picture and price implies
