What a wonderful warm and welcoming greeting from Lucy and Mar when we arrived. The whole experience exceeded any expectations. We loved staying here with Olga and Pedro. What a delight and right on the Camino Invierno too. Everything was wonderful. The love and care which has gone into turning a derelict old barn into a stunningly beautiful place to stay is just incredible. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners was 5 star. You can even book an evening meal ahead of time which is really useful. Breakfast was a feast. Perfection!

We stayed one night while walking the Camino and while it is about 1km away it is well worth the trip. This is a beautiful old family home that you instantly feel welcomed in. Right from the water and cake you are served during check in the host has thought of every little detail for your stay. The pride they show in sharing their home with you is evident in everything around you and how they treat their guest. You feel like a guest not just another traveller.

Beautiful surroundings and opulent, spacious rooms, quirky facilities. The only thing that let this place down was the dinner. For 29 Euro per person, my cod was so salty it was inedible and my husband did not finish his undercooked burgers either. It's a shame because they have all the elements to make it a 5* experience.
