"Room was perfect for an overnight stay. We had a studio and the only random thing was the toilet was separate to the bathroom but there was no sink in the toilet. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay here again. The location was perfect for us on a quiet street. "

"The hotel was wonderful, delicious hot selections and ample cold choices located in a unique decor. Location was excellent & easily walkable throughout Monmarte and central areas by the river. Walking from the Arc d'Triomph to the hotel took about 45 min & we felt very safe. It was about 20 min to walk, plus lots of steps, to Sacre Coeur. Our room was nice but small & to be expected for an older hotel in Paris. The Rudyard Kipling theme & portraits/artwork gave a unique vibe. Some street noise on a Fri night but also to be expected just blocks away from the Moulin Rouge. Staff were friendly & very helpful."

"We had a room on the eighth floor with a king bed and it was very spacious for Paris - you could have two people leave their suitcases open at all times and still have room to walk around. There were complimentary drinks in the mini fridge, replenished daily - a Coke, Coke Zero and an orange juice. I really enjoyed my stay - we even had a view of the Eiffel Tower - though, fyi, the toilet is in a separate little closet from the shower and sink (emphasis on little - I’m just under 5’7 and my knees almost touched the door. Also, the view comes with a trade off - you can hear random people yelling at four in the morning sometimes. I’m assuming people with rooms facing the courtyard can’t hear them, though then their view isn’t as pleasant. Pros and cons. Located steps from Place de Clichy Metro and countless restaurants and cafes. For anyone wanting to take the metro and RER to the airport early on a Saturday morning - it’s surprisingly hopping in the streets around the hotel at 5:45 am with actual traffic. Lots of people on their way home after a night out, eating in kebab shops, etc. "
