I had a wonderful time. There were a few mishaps initially in the beginning (refrigerator left unplugged and there was water all over the floor) but other than that my stay was wonderful. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a convenience store right around the corner to purchase many items to make my stay more comfortable. The hotel staff were nice as well, especially Ene and Peter. The chefs were fantastic also. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to go back again.

The worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The towels were extremely old, the rooms were smelly, the internet and the air conditioner were not working at all. I couldn’t sleep the whole night and had to check out first thing in the morning to a different hotel.

Staff service was excellent, however the booking made through expedia did not reflect on their system and I had to show them my booking confirmation email before I could be allocated a room. The room I was allocated left a lot to be desired as it was sparse with dilapidated furniture as well as faulty bathroom fixtures. Toiletries supplied were too few and lacked any sort of variety. The food quality was excellent.

Go someplace else

The hospitality was lacking. The elevator wasn’t working and there was no sign of it’s being repaired. The breakfast was very sub-par and the room wasn’t very clean. It was supposed to be a ‘royal room’ but you could tell that it wasn’t sanitized and cleaned up properly. It was the least favourite thing about my stay in Abuja. I would not be staying here next time.

The staff unfriendly. Housecleaning with replacement of towels, coffee etc had to requested and then delivered late. The plumbing was terrible with leaks in the bedroom and bathroom. Shower wouldn’t drain so standing in ankle deep water while showering . Too expensive for what you get. There are better choices such as The Chelsea which was cheaper and excellent service .

The room attendees Johnson clean the room so well. But then everything else was not up to standard. The room on the internet was not what kind of rooms in the hotel. False advertising. We ask for a iron don't received it The air conditioner was broken. Then said then will fix but never did. We saw several rooms before we pick one that felt comfortable.

The great thing about the property is its proximity to shops and surrounding area. The hotel also has a taxi service, events hall, personal services and the staff are great. However, i believe the proce per night is too high as the hotel amenities are out of date and needs to be brought to up to date decor and designs. It just seems the hotel has not be decorated since it was built and things have moved on since then. I saw a lot of wear and tear in the furniture. Also, the price for the taxi services and food are very expensive, thats something to consider.

Bad Experience

The ambience and service is fine and the room was neat. I did not sleep well. The AC was bad. I reached out severally to complain and someone came to check and i complained to him it comes on and go off and he said okay, walked out of the room and did not say anything. and i was not comfortable with the heat and did not make me sleep well even when i had an early morning presentation. I was disappointed. I also requested for my receipt to me mailed to me at point of check out and i haven't received it till this moment.

A Hotel worthy of its rating and more

We did not know what to expect upon arrival but by the end of our 15 night stay we left very impressed with the room, the room service and the Customer care, it was good to see the buffet breakfast which had a variety of European, African and Asian cuisine which is impressive. There is 24 hour security and Electricity also the location is ideal. The Hotel also provided airport pickup and drop-off. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

The blanket was dirty but rapped in clean cover/sheets, I requested that the blanket be charged in the morning, but it wasn't. By late in evening when the housekeeping staff came by, he told me it shouldn't be a problem as it was covered with clear sheets. I insisted that the dirty blanket be changed and replaced with a clean one. It was removed but wasn't replaced with a clean one as the staff told me there was no extra blanket and I will have to wait for laundry service to wash and dry blanket.
