Experience was flawed by the lady in charge at check in who was not in the mood to be there. Was adamant i didnt have VIP access, denied me the free daily breakfast so i had to pay for that and was unfriendly in general. She did not inform me of any deposit for later deduction of any services billed so i had to pay for everything including minor things such as a cup of coffee which is annoying and a waste of time. Service is slow and inefficient whether it be check in, room service, pool side orders, etc so have to keep following up requests. Gym equipment falling apart. Anyway will not be going there again

Safety First
I love this place because of the safety and security from the start. I like the fact that when a car comes in, it goes to a security process. I also like that all the stuff I’ll still be respectful, pleasant, and always address a salute the customers with a very warm good morning good evening.

Food from outside of the hotel was not allowed into the hotel. The security on duty checked our bags and denied us to bring our leftover food from an outside restaurant into the hotel. We were also denied our VIP breakfasts everyday. We did not get a 5 star treatment at all.

Great location next to the airport. They have excellent facilities and great staff. The reception staff on Saturday afternoon, 25th Feb 23, were excellent as I left my wallet and they sent the driver to the airport with it.

Disappointing to say the least.
The carpet in the room was dirty. As if it was not even vacuumed. And they use plastic bottles for water. No vegetarian food on menu. Overall not a 5 star hotel and surely not worth the cost. I’m a 5 star hotel the least you expect is basic cleanliness.

The initial reception at the gate was not very acceptable because of the security demanded that my husband and his assistant opened their luggages coming in from the airport. They had already been scanned and stamoed by the airport security and my husband was shocked by that request and refused this. He left and went to a different hotel. So i want the refund for the first night for both room.

It starts at the airport- no directions to the shuttle “call the hotel.” I booked an Expedia “package”. 3 flights, rooms and insurance. When the 3 of us arrived, only one room. That took two hours to sort out. I was offered 2 rooms at a higher cost “with breakfast”. When I said that I didn’t want their breakfast, he told me to book two more rooms online. Not back to Expedia. I still don’t know if I have paid for 3 rooms on the first go round or not. I received confirmation from Hotels.com immediately, but after waiting an hour for the confirmation to reach the hotel, they just “booked” us 2 rooms but not the reservation that I had booked!? I don’t attribute the package fail to the property. Second, when booking, the description says breakfast is included. When it comes to paying, the site asks whether you want to add breakfast for $35! Ironically, after the booking hassle, the reception offered breakfast to my two colleagues, but unless I pay $35, I won’t be joining them. Third, the restaurant only has a buffet. I’ve eaten too many lousy, way overpriced buffets. So to the bar, limited menu, NOTHING local, only French or American fast food. It was after 10:30pm as we’d spent 2 hours waiting in the reception to get a room. Bar food was very disappointing. Normally, I really like Radisson Blu, but Abidjan is a huge disappointment.

Clean facility. Very strict security with checkpoints for vehicles and luggages at the entrance. Lots of crews as the hotel is very close to the airport (walking distance).

The hotel is good for a short term stay. I strongly do not recommend to pay through Expedia as I made a mistake to pay an extension of 8 days through Expedia, then deciding to move downtown and ending up losing a 5 night charge. Expedia made a lame excuse 'we-could-not-get-a-hold-of-the-reception-to-settle-your-claim' even though the hotel has four receiption personnel at a time. Then they suggested I deal direct with the property which I did but I never received any response. Both staying at any Radisson and paying anything through Expedia is over for me.
