"I have been to Hilton Southern Pines, NC before and enjoyed. This time I saw a few differences. Towels were SO inadequate for a Hilton hotel. Thin, with threads hanging , just not what you expect from a Hilton. For some reason, our room was not cleaned, bed not made and no fresh towels. The pillows were HORRIBLE, not sure why they changed their pillows but again, not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. I wasn't there long enough to check out the rest of the hotel, but it did look clean."

"Worst property we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. Exterior areas were filthy with stained sticky sidewalks, cig butts everywhere. Room smelled of stale old smoke, stained sticky carpet, old food and not sure what else running down interior walls. Marijuana smells outside, screaming woman disturbance. Filth everywhere. It's hard to believe Hotels.com promotes this property."

"Our stay was exceptional as always! The rooms were extremely clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding as usual, and everyone was super helpful and friendly!"

"Our handicap accessible room was nice. I would have liked to have a second bed instead of a sleeper sofa though. The bathroom was clean and spacious. They only had a shower chair for the tub. With a new lower leg amputee in our group, a walk-in shower or at least a transfer style bench would have made shower access possible for her. Climbing into the tub was not possible. Other than that, the bathroom was large and easy to maneuver her wheelchair in. The bed was clean and comfortable. We had to ask for bedding for the sleeper sofa. It was not very comfortable, but it could have been worse. The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, sweets, yogurt, and so on. The attendant, Diane, warmly greeted us, was very attentive, and helpful. I was absolutely appreciative of her genuine kindness. The front slope into the main lobby was a bit challenging with a wheelchair and also the luggage cart. You have to park down a distance to access a ramp then walk to the main entrance. Overall, it was a good room with easy access for her manual wheelchair, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was above average. "
