"Lovely rooms, although basic, in a great central location, just a 10 minute walk from the waterfront, and even less time to get to local cafes and shops. House owner(s) were really welcoming. They stayed completely separate downstairs, and left you to your own devices. Downside would be the 2 shared bathrooms, although you hardly notice that other people are staying there and using them, and they were cleaned multiple times a day. "All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy). "

"The propery is located right by the beaach with a great pool for adults and kids. It was quiet, and offer some amenities during the day. The daily breakfast was very good, and the new chiringuito bar by the beach is great for a quick lunch or drink. "

"Food is pretty bad. The pool is nice and there are nice balconies in the rooms. The facility is a bit dated and things are pretty banged up. Its not 5 minutes to the beach more like 20-25 up a sognificant hill. "
"This small hotel is the best I have stayed for a long time. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices.
We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. Excellent!"
"Despite bad weather we had a good stay. We stay here regularily out of season for the warm indoor pool and big jacuzzi.
The food is not as good as it used to be but is acceptable. Breakfast is good.
We always stay in a suite nowadays. Furnishings tired but if the rooms were improved im sure the prices would shoot up. A 'spanish family' style, friendly, welcoming hotel. Always same staff.
