Very friendly and helpful hosts and a beautiful and comfortable place to stay with fantastic views from near the top of Montepulciano to the East and to the West over the surrounding countryside. Convenient wine bar owned by the same people next door where we enjoyed a light supper and some local wine. Good variety on offer for breakfast. VEry convenient parking just outside the front of the building.

We were travelling as a family of four. We had booked the Montepulciano 2 bedroom suite, but were delighted to be told on arrival that we'd been upgraded to the best villa on resort(!), Villa Nobile. This included a private pool and hot tub, all with fantastic views across the Tuscan countryside. The accommodation was v high standard and extremely luxurious. What a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious clean and extremely well presented. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and facilities great too. I loved the personal touches like the biscuits and water in the room with a note on arrival and also on the last day. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! :-)

We had the most magical 3 day stay at this hotel and could not recommend it more. Our room was beautifully appointed with a gas fireplace, exceptionally comfortable bed and large bathroom with all the amenities (including a Dyson hairdryer). Our room (a suite in the old part of the hotel) was perfect - a good size bedroom and sitting room and well equipped bathroom - all done in a traditional style in keeping with the castle. The pool area was also excellent. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to the gym (too small to really call a gym - only two pieces of equipment) and the lack of any tea / coffee facilities in the room.
