This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

Lovely stay with all the comforts but there was a mix up as we went to check out, i went to settle a bar bill and was presented with a full bill for the accommodation as well as the bar bill. The accommodation had previously been paid at the time of booking.

The hotel has a fantastic location, next to the nature reserve and the beach. The view from our balcony was amazing. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Loungers and towels were provided at the beach which is a real bonus and only a few minutes walk. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

Spacious, quiet and beautiful hotel in a former convent. Tastefully and sympathetically converted, peaceful gardens and pool, beautiful open courtyard. Some of the best dining in town. We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special.
Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect!
We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

This was a great hotel apartment with excellent facilities, particularly those travelling with young children. The apartment had a modern kitchen, huge dining/living area, bedroom for the kids with their own toilet/shower and a master on-suite bedroom. Plus a decent balcony overlooking the pool.
The staff were on the whole friendly and spoke good English.
The facilities were very good, with plenty of sunbeds around the pool and an indoor heated pool for young children
