"Great location that is NOT directly in Kalamata. 5 minutes drive down the street to all the action. No problem parking (in May). Staff were all extremely helpful and professional. Pool is very nice and big on a raised deck overlooking the beach which is right across the street. You can also walk into the action at Kalamata. Probably a 20 minute walk. "I thought that this was a very pleasant hotel where the staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. Full credit to them. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful sea view. The operation of the lighting was a bit too complex, but this was just a detail - a bit of over-engineering from its recent refurbishment in what is otherwise a very good hotel."

"Had a 4-day stay with a family of four and this property was remarkable. Just 10 mins from Sparta Central Square and a nice easy drive. Breakfast was phenomenal, the pool was spacious and you can just reserve it to ensure no unwanted issues. Parking is limited but never ran out. The rooms are spacious, shower is amazing, and staff was always grateful and helped us coordinate taxis or anything else. "It’s a special place and beautifully renovated mansion. The bed was large enough and comfortable with modern amenities with high ceiling, big windows, a/c. Breakfast was delicious with variety of local specialties. It’s very well located to the nearest central square with restaurants, and shops. Nearby open farmers market and the old town as well as the Castle. Definitely recommend it and would love to be back again! "
