An idyllic place - set in countryside surrounded by a nice garden, and woods, yet close to the village and equidistant to city and coast. Lovely old farm building. Only marred because the main highway is fairly close and a bit noisy. Best bit - fantastic dinner, all home made (I think everything from the bread to the cakes are home made here, special note to the jam!) Breakfast on the patio perfect. If I were being picky I'd mention that the rooms corridor is a bit noisy - as an old building...

Palazzetto My Venice is a beautiful hotel. It is in a quaint area but yet a short walk to St Marks Square, a water bus terminal and the stunning winding streets of Venice.
The staff cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, and they are really friendly. Our room was perfect and breakfast is amazing. I did not find a fault with this hotel, the staff made it a wonderful experience for us and we will definitely return one day.

This hotel is amazing!!!! The refurbishment has been done so well, the location is perfect, it’s so peaceful but so close to everything. We felt so lucky to stay here.

We stayed for 5 nights in Venice at the American-Dinesen, the staff are all very friendly and very very helpful. Our room was small but clean and tidy and all you need for a short stay, just being picky but need drawers for socks etc etc. Breakfast was excellent and finished at 10.30 so you could have a sleep in. Venice was wonderful even if it rained for 3 days we got to see everything we wanted to. Gondolas are expensive for what you get(a photo op), if after 2 days you are tired of walking...
