"The staff and food was all great. The location is very good except when it is a weekend with the party people circling the hotel until after midnight. I do remember when I was young so having earplugs does help. I would suggest they take the bright green light off of the phone on the wall as it lights up the whole room. "This hotel was nice, nestled at the top of Lake Como and at the bottom of a mountain! Be mindful, it’s still quite the uphill trek from the main road if you don’t have a car! Train is about a 15 min walk. There is only 2 restaurants in town, one in the hotel, so you’re at their mercy! The room is good but the views! That’s why you’re there, can’t beat them! Enjoy!"

"This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. The rest of our stay seemed like a disaster because of it. I'm sorry it ended up like that, there was no need for it to go...

Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare. "When we arrived, we were not greeted warmly, almost accusing us of not having a reservation. While we were searching, she took a phone call and said” ah yes ! Here you are!” There was no one else in the hotel- we arrived on our floor, the door was closed to the hallway we had to walk down. Lights would not turn on. The room was nothing more than a motel 6, but the view was spectacular. Went down to have a beer. Server was not friendly at all- said no English! Sadly he was our server for dinner....
