Makes a very good base for exploring the Somme area. "The hotel is starting to look a little worn. If you have trouble with stairs or have lots of luggage request a ground floor room. There is no lift. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were clean and there was sufficient space. Handy to places of interest and centre of town and train station. Nothing flash but at least 1 competent staff member and they are able to provide a breakfast box if you are leaving early."

"We stayed in the annex room 17,still very close to the cathedral and very peaceful except for some block slamming doors and running up and down stairs at three in the morning.Parking can be a pain,use a sat-nav,make sure you speak to the staff they are very helpful on all aspects of staying in Amiens.The city is very nice,loads of good restaurants,bars and shops.Also if you have transport visit Gerberoy about an hour away,absolutely beautiful.A picture postcard village."
