"3 night booking. I arrived at about 9pm on the first night after a long and tiring journey, but my room was not ready. I had to wait about 30 minutes whilst staff went to get towels and soap, as well as a floor-standing fan - there was a fan already in the room but it was broken with the guard cover on the floor. "Pleasant rooftop restaurant and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it. There was an electrical panel just outside the louvered door by the bed, and some circuit on the panel beeped incessantly. It would not have been possible to sleep without earplugs. Shower was spacious and provided multiple showerhead options, but there was nowhere to hang a towel in or near the shower room. Nor was there anywhere to set a bar of soap or bottle of shampoo. The space could be made more functional with the addition of a small shelf, two wall hooks, and an A/C unit in the second sleeping room."

"Nice beach front hotel with good room, reasonably fast internet and friendly staff. It is some distance from the next town but not necessarily quiet. There was a lot of dog barking at night until we complained, then it was better. The restaurant food is of good quality but the menu changed only once in 8 days. The owner is a little too keen on the money as they offered a terrible rate of exchange and card payment was charged at an extra 5%. Overall it was pleasant enough but not a "must have been" place."
