"We spent two nights at La Covacha in July and it was an excellent Casa Rural. The owner greeted us and she gave us a lot of good information and amongst other things good directions for two walking trips with fantastic bathing opportunities in the Gargantas. The pool was nice and so was the mini pond with frogs. The large room was clean and breakfast was good as well."

"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

Tuvimos la mala suerte de no poder dormir por el viento que hacía, al hacer esquina y estar en el monte había mucho ruido pero solo fue una noche. Las almohadas podrían mejorar. La ruta para llegar es un tanto rural y complicada pero vale la pena. No hay personal ni atencion en el hotel por lo que hay que llamar si hace falta algo y el wifi no funciona bien algunas veces.
