"We are traveling to Tampa and stopped here as a halfway point in our drive. The hotel staff is very friendly, the Prosper bar/restaurant has a nice vibe, friendly staff, and delicious food (try the fresh catch tacos!). The bonus (for me) is the pool, which has lap lines to swim. Definitely a perk in an outdoor pool! The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We didn’t need anything additional for our stay."

"Marriott is my go-to when booking anywhere but this one was lacking. Room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. Parking was an additional fee, which I’ll never understand. The pool was absolutely FILTHY. I wish I would have taken pictures of it. It was cloudy, full of hair and white-looking debris (lotion, sunscreen, make-up or something). We were there for 3 days and it wasn’t usable due to the condition. "

"I think a little more time and effort should be put into making sure the rooms are properly cleaned and dusted. I rented a mini suite, saw some dirt on the wall in the main bathroom, rented the same suit and the same dirt was there. the vent in the bathroom was noticable dirty. again the maid staff should take more pride and time when it comes to making sure the room is cleaned properly. maybe add some other options to the breakfast menu. did not like that the pool was still closed on both stay....
