"the location is great near shopping centre and walkable to the main town by the waterside. staff are friendly and helpful. breakfast was excellent too. downside was room lacks of basic facilities like kettle and no telephone to contact reception if you need something. also no free park on site but was easy enough to park and pay. good for an overnight stay. The included breakfast was very good. It had a very nice lounge so you could relax outside your room. The shower, as in most of Norway, was small and leaked a bit. "

"Difficulty with check in. Key Codes not sent until after noon. We had problems with our cell service so didn’t get email. Phone call didn’t go through. Had to stop at a restaurant to use their WiFi ti get email to get in. Email should be sent earlier in the morning. Opened Windows for air in room, but people were smoking at front door to Hotel and smoke came into our room several times, even at 6 am! "

"The hotel is a little dated but I give it too scores for the staff. The incredibly kind woman working the front during the day and the interesting, engaging gentleman working the night. They both were excellent at customer service, finding ways to accommodate us. I found them to be the best part of our stay. The room is nice enough. Bathroom a bit small. Breakfast is amazing and the chef was so kind. Lovely people. "

Very helpful and friendly staff during check-in, spotless apartment in fabulous location and great service from the vaktmester when a leak in the sink turned the water off (he came shortly and fixed the problem).
