The hotel was supposed to be a pet friendly, but somehow we got pressure from other tenets and staff was trying to please them, which was big drawback for us. "The hotel is shown on the map on Expedia as being located just below the Fortress in one of the few remaining historic areas of the city, very close to Stalin Museum, but it is actually located in front of the train station, across the river, 30 minutes away from the museum. And there is absolutely nothing to do or see in that area. The bathroom had a terrible and persistent stench as if vapors were coming up from sewer. finally, the blanket covering the bed was so narrow that any movement...

"Facility is basic, and we encountered a power outage from late afternoon to about 9 pm in the evening. Without power, water was also not available. With very limited English speaking skills, the staff were very nice and kind and tried their best to help 👍 The breakfast was also very simple.
