"The resort was lovely looking out over the lake. Convenient easy walk to the ferry to visit any towns on the lake. Great restaurant on the property and the breakfast was outstanding with everything you could imagine wanting to be offered. Laundry facilities at the property were very convenient. Although rooms looked a bit dated, this was acceptable for a building from the late 18th century. Air conditioning appeared to be an option (no remote control available in room). "The check in was in the middle of the restaurant area and very hard to find. I stayed 4 nights and it was on the 3rd day I could walk into the right door and find the lift without too much trouble. There is no signage for the front door, no direction to the reception desk, and no tourist information. I would not recommend this as my choice to stay in Locarno."
