"The beds are good. The street is calm. The staff is nice and speaks english atop of german. The Phantasia Land shuttle is near. The parking (10 euros per night) is not far, but is a bit difficult with 5 meters cars. There was no key for the bathroom, which is accessible from either two separate rooms, thus we had to make rules ( knock on door before entering the bathroom/toilet ). The two satellite tv’s are not very good, and they are not smart tv’s which for that price i’ve expected, so don’t...

"A beautiful small hotel in the heart of the villa quarter of Bad Godesberg. Small but very comfortable and clean rooms with lovely bathroom facilities. Probably one of the best showers I ever had! The breakfast buffet was adequate and the only thing missing for me personally was fresh fruit (they did have tinned fruit salad). The staff were friendly and accommodating. "

"I didn’t know what to expect but I was trusting the reviews. I was not disappointed. I loved the layout of the separate rooms which was perfect for the kids. It was close to the train and everything. It was so clean, the bed sheets actually smelled clean. The staff was great, it was quiet. The breakfast selection was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. The area is the star, a beautiful part of the world with the Mighty Rhine the star of the show. Also the pool and sauna are lovely. "We arrived about 9:00 pm. There was no any receptionist or room service or maintenance people. Checked in with computer and took the key. No hot water at all. Ice cold water. No people to call. Room was extremely hot. 27 Celsius. There is no AC. We opened the windows. Humidity a lot. Terrible smell of the swamp. Couldn't sleep at all till morning. Still no hot water. When we told to receptionist at 8:00 am about hot water. She said "I will tell them". Ugly people, terrible hotel. David"

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Balthasar Neumann. They worked with us to address an issue with our ability to check in during the standard hours. The family rooms that we had were wonderfully large and comfortable -- I actually regret not having more time in the room! The area around the hotel has many pedestrian-focused streets and available cafes etc. The station is about a 15 minute from the station without luggage -- allow a little longer if you are pulling bags along the brick sidewalks and roads."
