"Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island"

"Clean, quiet and serene. A good getaway.
Staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is clean and sufficient.
The car parking and boat transfer are very helpful.
The reliance on electricity from the national grid is a weakness. We couldn't have grilled food because electricity had gone. The generator should be used whenever electricity goes.
The room can get quite hot at night."

"Hallo, das Hotel ist sehr heruntergekommen und entspricht keineswegs der Beschreibung. Weder das Zimmer noch die Terrasse war geputzt, der Strand ist sehr dreckig und Wifi gibt es auch keines wie es aus der Beschreibung hervor geht. "

"Amazing place to stay in Kalangala. Such a comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. As we stayed during the week we had the place to ourselves. "This guesthouse is a gem - beautiful backyard gardens, very relaxing. Claire- owner was absolutely delightful & extremely accommodating. The guest house is 2-3 minute walk to Lake Victoria. Literally right around the corner. Several excellent restaurants within 5 minute walk - i can recommend garden thai. Delicious."

20. Entebbe Vine Inn
Entebbe Vine InnEntebbe
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1 review)
"On arrival, told no record of me. Price very different to what Expedia listed and I had to pay $40 US cash. Owner says she does not like Expedia, they never pay her.
Difficult to get in and out of as gate to property is always locked.
Rooms are ok, wifi is good.
Just remember you will pay a lot more than what Expedia says, and have the cash.
Close to lake shore."
