"We were very happy with our 4 day stay at this hotel. It was within walking distance of parks, restaurants, and the city center. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. "When we first travelled in Spain 30 years ago, this was the typical hotel. Honest to goodness accommodation for travellers. It was fine. Comfortable and clean. Old fashioned but fine. "Palencia is a very pleasant quiet town. it made an ideal stopover with an opportunity to visit the very interesting cathedral which is full of treasures. Hotel Don Rodrigo is on a quiet street close to the rive and a short walk from the cathedral and town centre.
