"The shuttle feature is great from the train station, although you need to plan ahead due to its limited availability. Taxi to the property was inexpensive and affordable from the train station as well. On suite onsen and private bath is a must have feature with a clear view to the river below and the forest. Dinner serve in room was beyond exceptional. Breakfast was a little disappointing but still good. Definitely making this place an annual tradition to revisit every time we're back in...

"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. "hotel shower temperature kept fluctuating to hot and cold while the taps did not. The lighting it the room was also subpar and quite dim. hotel breakfast was immaculate definitely worth it. "

"This hotel is just far enough from shopping and eating areas to be relatively quiet, but close enough that running out at night is easy and quick to get to a more exciting area. Rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette and small desk for getting ready. Great location and solid amenities. Included breakfast is simple but gets the job done."
