Bathroom wasn’t cleaned when we got to the room. Shower wouldn’t drain and the place is gloomy. It looks 3 times better in the pictures than in real life. Staff was nice though.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We decided to pay the extra $50 to check in early. She offered us an upgrade where we only paid $20 for early check in and we got upgraded to a queen bedroom, which was great. But when we got to our room, we noticed that it was only a full size bed. I called the front desk to address this issue since we did get an upgrade. The lady at the front desk was a little aggressive assuring me that it was a queen size bed even though I knew she was completely wrong. She sent a lady up there to check it out for us and we got moved to the room next door. However, we then realized the AC unit was not working, which was a big issue for us since we were staying there for 4 nights. I called the front desk and asked very nicely if we could have someone come and check out the AC unit, I even apologized for bothering them a second time. The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude stating that it wasn’t their problem and if we had an issue with it we should move back to our old room. Absolutely terrible customer service from that lady! We decided to bite the bullet and move back however we still had many issues throughout our stay. There was mold in the shower. Pillows were rock solid and uncomfortable. Housekeeping starts knocking every morning at 8-9 am and will continuously come back and knock 2-3 more times, even after you tell them no. Also, housekeeping would fight with each other LOUDLY every morning, which is very unprofessional.

The hotel was dirty with cockroaches and did not have a working AC unit. Terrible. This should not be rated as a 3 star hotel - should be 2. It’s misleading and not represented correctly. For $400 a night this should be immaculate.

The property is in a great location and for NYC the room size was pretty good. Unfortunately the room I was in was very tired, dated. The AC would not work properly, the smoke alarm was missing and floors and walls we all chipped and damaged. The door was multiple colors and looked like at some point it was forced open
