"Overall, a POSITIVE experience. I only dropped the facility ratings because they are remodeling, so there was furniture outside many rooms. We did not have a dresser in our room. It had NO impact on our stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I told the front desk clerk we WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR for the Dover NASCAR race. I am grateful that Expedia found us a room that met my needs! The hotel we stayed at for the previous 30 years was knocked down to make a parking lot for the New Castle...

"I stayed at Hometown for a week and I enjoyed my stay. Front desk was very nice and helpful. I talked with the new GM in the morning. He told me about the progress that they have made and future plans for improvement. There were no rowdy people on the property. I felt very safe and my room was extremely clean. WiFi was fast. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked in the room and water was hot. There is a nice restaurant and bar on the premises to enjoy a drink in the evening after a long day...
