"We had a wonderful stay at The Pyramids View Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we checked in with owner, Mr Samy, and Mr Kamal, manager, we felt like part of the family. Our room was perfect, providing a wonderful window view of the Sphinx and the Pyramids. Our adjoining balcony, with table and chairs, had a spectacular view. The B&B rooftop provided a spectacular Sphinx and Pyramids view. Upon of arrival, Ms. Monica and Mr. Kamel provided wonderful hospitality, offering beverages including wine and beer, added to our bill and reasonably priced. Food was available to order. The best rooftop evening was the Sphinx and Pyramids Light and Sound show. The seating made it feel like we were in front row seats. The lighting show was breathtaking and highlighted the pyramid history and of ancient Egypt. Each morning Ms. Monica and Mr. Kamal invited us for breakfast, included in our stay. The huge spread included a variety of food prepared by Chef Adel. The breakfast included fruits (watermelon, bananas etc), sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, variety of eggs, sliced cheeses, Egyptian bean and other dishes, yogurt, breads, jelly, coffee, tea, milk, juice and many other items. Our breakfast favorite was fresh fried falafel brought to our table by Chef Adel each morning. Mr. Samy and Mr. Kamal also arranged a Tuk Tuk ride providing sightseeing and shopping and also made taxi transfer arrangements to the airport for our return home. "I encourage everyone to read my honest review: I've traveled to a few places around the world and I've been in many different hotels. If you come to Egypt expecting emaculate massive rooms with perfect streets and nightlife surrounding you, that is not the real Egypt. The reality is that Egypt is far from perfect. You must remember, this isn't the place that has all the luxuries that most of you likely have at home. But the people you meet and interact with and the things you see both tourist attractions and not is what makes you truly appreciate Egypt. With that, I'd like to bring my attention to Dr. Mohammed. He has a degree in Egyptology and is the owner of Desert Moon, along with his wife whom we unfortunately did not get to meet. From the moment we arrived at like 9a, he personally greeted us and apologized for the confusion around the cab driver. He immediately welcomed us to some breakfast and told me he wants to make our trip memorable. He is a very spiritual and loving man. He shared a wonderful story of love between him and his wife and explains how their goal is to share their love with each and every guest that arrives. He listened to everything we were interested in doing and made sure we hit every one of those points. He is very reasonable when it comes to prices and you can tell he wants you to truly experience the most of Egypt without feeling like you're spending far more than you need to. "
