"We had a lovely stay,the bed was so comfortable ,an added coincidence was a painting in the room had my name in it ‘Kathleen’ and we were in room 1720 my birthday is on 17 August, also on opening the curtains in the morning the hot air balloons were floating past!! All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, my only small problem was no handle in the coffee cup,it was a bit hot to hold, if you keep your cups like that you might want to have some sleeves to slip the hot cup into!"

"Bedroom had the smell of old cooking oil and deep fried meat presumably from a restaurant that was open from the afternoon until evening. Very noisy until after midnight. Hot water for sink and shower takes about 5 minutes to come through. Somewhat dated and in need of an upgrade. Convenient location and decent price. Good customer service, easy check in."

"Great hotel in a great location - they gave us a room on the 14th level and the view was stunning. Plenty of places to choose for eating out and short walk to Coolangatta beach which was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again."
