Room smelt of cigarettes upon entry, bathroom had been cleaned with bleach, could hear the lift going all night, construction began down the halls in the morning and staff member entered our room without our knowledge.

Garden was good but the ladies toilets in reception and bar area had a terrible smell Think drainage needs sorting Can see there doing some improvements but more needs doing We had a good stay with family though

I asked for a cot for our 7 month old when booking. There was none on arrival. I asked again at reception and there was not one brought. Our key card stopped working after day 1 of a 2 day stay. The hotel says free WiFi included but this is only communal spaces there is a 7 pound charge per day per device for WiFi in the rooms, which is not made clear when booking. The plug for the bath in our room was not the right fot for the bathtub. Staff at reception were stand offish and rude. Cannot fault the cleaning staff however. Parking was not in allocated bays and is a fair walk from the hotel itself. The general grounds were pleasant but our room was very outdated with some light switches not working etc. Pictures can be deceiving!
