"Downtown villas was perfect for my first stop in Bali. The villas are located right off a Main Street with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from within very easy walking distance. The villa is a bit dated and could use some minor repairs, because of this, it didn’t look as clean as newer more modern accommodations do but the rooms were made up daily and the staff did a great job keeping g them clean and tidy. The stay was refreshing and hotel staff was really helpful and welcoming also breakfast with a la carte eggs menu was one of the best breakis I’ve had! 25 min walk to the beach, got upgrade to something like a 50sqm room. "Overall a great hotel, lots a fantastic amenities but the rooms need a little attention, you could see where they were showing signs of wear, such as the upholstery on the couch. Great location with restaurants and shops in walking distance. Beautiful rooftop pool, all day breakfast and a nice spa. All the staff were amazing and very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the mattress was absolutely terrible, way too firm and I didn’t get any sleep all week. I did change rooms after a few nights...
