Good value and location
The Melia is not the most modern hotel in KL. But it is conveniently located oposite a major shopping centre (Times Square) and next to a rapid transit station. Food is good and there is always the shopping centre across the street. There is a major computer market just behind the hotel that stocks a huge range of computers and accessories. The power supply to my laptop burned out and I was able to replace ii in minutes. The swimming pool is great for the hot weather. Overall good value hotel

Seemed like a very luxurious hotel but the room I was given was extremely simple with some carpet stains and no frills. The internet fee was very hi and my window faced another high rise, I felt like I was given one of the cheapest simplest rooms in the place. The focus of this hotel seems to be hosting business meetings. The breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular or enticing.

Times Square Mall is directly across the street and has nearly everything (stores, movie theater, dry cleaner, bookstore).
