A great experience!

Having ummed and aahed about where to stay we plumped for the Hotel Panorama due primarily to its location and cost - similar hotels seemed a lot more pricey. We arrived on the evening of Chinese New Year, and having taken a taxi from Kowloon Airport Express Station, found the surrounding roads to our hotel closed. This did not bode well but on the taxi driver calling the hotel, the hotel sent a porter to us (without our having to ask) who must have run all the way given he only took a couple of minutes to reach us, and came armed with a trolley. We were then met at the door by reception who apologised for the service!! Our room was outstanding - OK we were upgraded from a Platinum Superior to a Platinum Deluxe , but I don;t think it is that rare for them to do this. Everything the hotel was meant to deliver it did - what more can you ask for? Even if you don;t have a harbour view room the restaurant, bar and roof garden allow you to enjoy this whenever you want.

Covenient Location

Easy to get to ferry, train and markets from this Kowloon hotel. We upgraded to a suite on the 33rd floor upon check-in to accomodate our daughter and had a great view of the harbor and the laser light show. Very comfortable rooms, lots of space. Quibles: big towels weren’t absorbant, hotel food quite expensive, free newspaper not delivered to door. But many good restaurants nearby and Hong Kong was easy to explore.

Nice hotel, awful service.

Check-in was disappointing, but everything else was ok. nice location. No direct harbour view, only from the roof.
