The area surrounding the hotel is good for sight seeings. But since it is in the heart of governmental admin area, it lacks of local lives in the sense of real local food (you can find quite a bit of tourist food) Be prepare to do quite a bit if walking and the area is hugh!

I got a free upgrade and obviously because they failed to provide the room type that I booked. And the chambermaid is very polite and friendly. Receptionist are well manner and the hotel is right at the heart of Beijing which make it very convience to go round.

The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Public areas and room are very clean. The food is very good for both Chinese food lovers and western food lovers. More options with coffee.
